Liping's reflection

A throwback to yesterday. We went to visit the death railway museum, the cemetery, the temple and the death railway bridge. It was quite amazed that the prisoners who built the bridge within one year.In the museum we got to know more about the death railway and the lives of the prisoners. The prisoners lived in a very bad conditioned environment and treated very inhuman by the Japanese officers. The prisoners suffered tortures and illnesses, many of them died from these tortures and illnesses. The prisoners were so thin and were a bag of bones. During that period of time, the prisoners had no stationaries or poke cards to write or play. They used what they had to write something to keep them feel alive. Power is a very powerful weapon which can destroy someone yet it can also benefit someone. It was very sad that the Japanese officers used their superior power to torture the prisoners but they did not realise that they were normal people the prisoners were normal people too. Perhaps some of them did not willing to do this but were forced to do so. I learnt that as a leader, sometimes it is hard to make a decision which people will satisfy with. However sometimes you have to make a decision which you strongly feel that it is a right thing to do even though no one supports you. It is just like when my friends asking me to hang out with them but I choose to stay at home as I have a lot of homework to do. Even though my friends may not happy with me but I have to do as I think finishing my homework is my first priority. If not I may stay up late just to finish my homework.

Last Day
A few more hours till we reached Singapore. This trip has been really memorable to me. My goal to opened up more and also to make new friends was achieved. I will definately remember the bonds that we build through this journey.
Im really gonna miss the funny moment happened in the guest house. This trip will definately be in my mind.. I hope this trip could be longer though

Emilio's last day

What an unforgettable trip it was. It is my first time traveling overseas with my school, I have learnt a lot and also gained a lot from this leadership trip.As an NCC and student leader, I would like to share my knowledge about the importance of conservation and positive influence with my fellow friends.

Qian Er's day 3 reflection

Kanchanaburi day 3 ; 19 November 2016

by Lau Qian Er, 303

Today marks the last night in Thailand, I have enjoyed the trip very much so far. I would like to thank the teachers for selecting me to go for this trip. I am really grateful for being able to go for this trip with this bunch of people. Personally, I think that this trip is very memorable as I got to learn more about Thailand as well as my schoolmates. I am really thankful that I am able to sleep with Ismath and Liping after being separated from Megan. I want to specially thank my group mates ( Ismath, Fatehah, Liping, Diyanah, Zaid ) for tolerating my nonsense and make my trip fun and enjoyable! :) I also want to thank my housemates ( Ismath , Yan Tong , Tong Shan , Gigi , Liping , Diyanah ) that stayed with me for the first two nights. Sleeping with them for two nights was very fun as we party a lot in the guest house. I want to specially thank Yan Tong for being such a caring person. Although she is a junior but she acts like a senior in the guest house taking care of us. I remembered that she boiled hot water for us as some of us wanted to eat cup noodles. She is like a mother hen taking good care of us in the guest house and keep making us laugh with her jokes. Thank you everyone once again for making this trip such an memorable and fun one !!! :)

one of the highlights of this trip ; best housematesss <3

<Group 1> sooo glad to have them in my group :')

Kanchanaburi day 3 ; Phu Wai Cave is awesomeee :D

was very very memorable >-<

Bye Thailand :(

Megan's day 3 reflection

Day 3 reflection : Today is my last night in Thailand as i will be going back to Singapore tomorrow. Time flies really quickly, i still feel like i have just arrived in Thailand. I really enjoyed the trip as it was truly enriching and i have got to know my friends better. In my opinion, i feel that the duration of the trip should be longer as most of our time spent was on getting from place to place.
All in all, if i had the opportunity to go on such school trips again, i definitely would apply for it. However, if I'm not able to, i will encourage my juniors to join such school trips. Such trips are hard to come by and are certainly worthwhile. Thank you teachers for making this trip a reality, i really had lots of fun with my friends. :)

18 November — 3rd Day in Thailand

Unfortunately, today will be the last night spending time together. Also the last breakfast as a whole group tomorrow. I will always remember the 17 shenanigans and the 3 awesome teachers. Thailand has been wonderful for me. From the food to the resort, hotel and places that we visited etc. Thank You everyone who has been part of this trip. This trip will not be the same without all of u. Those bus trips were the best eventhough we slept half of the time. Those shopping moments were lit. Running around the mall trying to search for the entrance when I was late. As this is a leadership trip, I will try my best to showcase the things that ive learnt in school like the values. Thank u teachers for choosing me for this wonderful trip.
I will never regret signing for this trip. :DD

p.s. safe flight home!! ✈✈

Last Day's Reflection [Ismath]

today is the last day and all of us are really sad. it has been indeed an incredible trip, visiting such beautiful places in thailand. i really have enjoyed tgis trip thoroughly and i hope that ill be given a chance to go on a trip similar to this. the people i have met for the past few days were beyond amazing and they were the most caring people i have ever met. i think one unforgettable memory will indeed be in the guest house at the resort. we had so much fun and instantly 'clicked' despite coming from different backgrounds. it was so memorable and i am so glad i came for this trip. absolutelu no regrets :D

Reflection
Second last day in thailand has come to an end. For the past two days I have learn alot about leadership skill and value through the trips from the wildlife sanctury to the hill tribe school and lastly to the death railway. Im starting to miss the kids at the hill tribe school. They are so cute and clingy in a good way. Their action really reminds me of my precious little cuzzy. I guess when I arrive in singapore I need to visit her and give her a big hug. I have a lot more to share to guys about the trips but i will save that for tomorrow..

To be continued.. [Gigi]

Honestly, i didn't know that a 4D3N trip to Uthai Thani, which we do not even know where exactly it is located in Thailand, can be such an enjoyable experience. This trip definitely made me a better person and thus I would like to thank the teachers for making this possible. Even though tomorrow would be the last day, I'm sure this will be an unforgettable school trip for all of us. The visit to the temple and death railway is a brand new and enjoyable experience to me, even though it is really hot. Not forgetting the rest of you guys, thank you for being part of this trip even if not everyone is familiar with each other. This trip would not be the same without any of you.

Even if the feelings will fade overtime, the memories will be remembered :)

// diyanah - 201 //

today is the last night before we headed back to Singapore.I'm actually quite sad as I would miss all the memories my schoolmates and I have created. It was an enriching journey that I couldn't realized that time has passed so fast.my favourite attraction got to be the Death Railway,i was surprised that the railway was built within a year, this teaches me that a leader should always have great teamwork with the others.this journey have been teaching a lot of new things and I would totally grab the opportunity next year for this kind of trip :)

Yan Tong 201(>^ω^<)

To be honest, when I actually got the opportunity to go on this trip, my first thought was to reject the offer as I was afraid to step out of my comfort zone considering that I was only one of the two secondary two students that were selected to go but after this trip and getting to know my seniors better, I regret nothing and this 4 day 3 night trip is actually my first overseas trip that I have gone with people that I hardly knew. This trip thought me a lot of new values and it also helped to further understand the meaning of true servant leadership. I would like to thank everyone as they made my trip fun and enjoyable especially the teachers as they were the ones that actually made this trip possible and my housemates Gi Gi, Ismath, Diyanah, Tong Shan, Li Ping and Qian Er as they supported me through this trip both physically and emotionally. I hope that in the future I would be able to go for more trips like this. Bye! ─=≡Σ((( つ•̀ω•́)つ

a memory to remember (xin thong)

18 November 2016

I must really say that I don't regret coming to this Uthai Thani trip. I've made more friends and some are those that I've not even talk to or know really well before. For the first two nights, i must really thank my housemates, Ain, Chloe, Megan, Khairiah, Siti and Fatehah for looking out for one another and taking care of each other. I really like the second night, where we all sat together at the dining table and talk and laugh about one another. Today, I sat with Khairiah in the bus throughout the whole journey and I must say, I have really change my perspective about her. At first I didn't really talk to her a lot as i don't really know her that well but during the whole journey, she was actually very cheerful and caring and she made me laugh a lot 😂 Everything has almost come to an end and this is already the third night. Although we don't want our trip to end, but we still have to. Everything will not be the same without my friends. They are the ones who make this trip memorable and enjoyable. Thank you once again guys 🙂

tongshan s303 18/11/2016 :)

I can still remember how nervous I was when I first heard that I had been selected for this overseas leadership trip one month ago. I was afraid that I cannot communicate with other teammates as I was not close to them. Fortunately, my teammates were friendly and they were willing to help me when I faced some difficulties. In these four days, I made lots of new friends from different backgrounds, I got to know some schoolmates that I was not familiar. I had a chance to get close to our school teachers also. Before I came to Thailand, I thought that Ms Tng and Ms Yeo are very "fierce", but soon I knew that I am wrong. Teachers did show their friendly side towards all students and tried to help us as much as possible. I really appreciate that teachers had chosen me to join this trip, it is so fun and meaningful. I am glad that I did choose to sign up for this trip as I got a chance to know more about our teachers and schoolmates. I love this trip so much, thank you teachers and schoolmates for making this trip become such a wonderful trip:)

Thank You, everyone ! :D (Chloe)

Last night of trip :(

These three nights have been really enjoyable. (Read on ; all of your names are in ;) )
From visiting the wildlife sanctuary, hill tribe school, museum, cave and death railway, each moment was really enjoyable for me. Uthai Thani was a unknown place to us first, but right now we have truly known that this place is the one which made the happiest memories for us.
I would really like to thank everyone for making this trip one of the most memorable school trips I have ever been to.
Thank you to my house-mates for the first two nights, XinThong,Megan,Ain,Khairiah,Fatehah and Siti for being really friendly and nice people who made the mood much more lively in the house. I would like to thank Ismath,QianEr, TongShan,Gigi and LiPing for improving the mood of this trip . Although we are classmates, this trip was a good opportunity for me to know them better. YanTong and Diyanah have been really good juniors as well. At first, I did not know them well and I thought that they were quiet people. After spending time with them, they are actually lively people who can make anyone's day. (Get well soon, Diyanah!)
I would also like to thank Dzaky, Aufa, Emilio and Zaid for making all of us laugh from time to time :D
Thank you to the three teachers, Ms Tng, Mr Ye and Ms Yeo for taking really good care of us and also, make us laugh. I would like to thank the teachers for organising this trip for us students. Without them, I don't think this trip would be so successful.
We have taken lots and lots of pictures and we did the Mannequin Challenge altogether, which makes this trip even more unforgettable. As time passes and we all grow up and lead different lives, I hope that all of us would look back at this blog and look at the pictures, reliving these memories and feel that it had only happened a day ago.
Simple moments like going to shop at the local supermarkets and malls together were joyous and really fun :D
I , thank you, everyone of you.
Now , I know that signing up for this trip was the right choice :).

This trip has been really memorable😀.The night we are doing this reflection,I dont want the night to end early. The trip is short as it was a 4Day,3Night.Although the short time, amazing memories was made and this would always stay in me.The memories and the values that i was able to learn would be something i would never forget.
Some of the memories would be with the other boys(JOKERS)😂.When we did a winter season like unit, inside jokes;Camera😂😂 and especially the Special Night operation. The teacher were also awesome and i really thank them for just being awesome😀.
With that i love this trip and wish for another one🤗

Memories (dzaky)

Man, i don’t know where to start but i would honestly say that this can be the most memorable school trip i ever have. I never thought that this trip would be so enjoyable with the company of my teachers and friends. I would like to specially thanks the boys in this trip for an amazingly memorable experience. From the four season house that we get, to the house battlefield, and the Night Special Operations that we did. It made the trip more meaningful as we are somewhat also learning about what happened during the world war 2.Also, to all the teachers and friends that had been in this trip with me, I would really thank you all for this amazing opportunity that i got. It is truly wonderful, I keep on repeating my self on how grateful i am to have you guys with and in this trip. Really, thank you very much. I will never forget this trip.

Sitay's Last Reflection

I feel very touched as everyone make this trip meaningful and enjoyable. Although we come from different backgrounds and streams, we still bond with each other and make jokes. This trip really make me realise alot of things that i do not notice myself. I will definitely miss all the nonsense in the bus and also miss my room mates that stayed in the same house as me. Lastly, i hope we will still talk to each other in school after the trip ends.

And with the leaving of the last train, the team has also completed all main learning sites for the last 3 days. The trip eventually ended on a 'high' with 2 shopping trips which to be honest, left the teachers pretty amazed at the 'sudden bursts' of energy and adrenaline. Woah!!!

Emilio day 2 reflections

From today's journey, i have seen a lot and i feel that i have made the right choice to come to this trip. Being able to visit places such as the hill tribe school and the UNESCO site was truly amazing and unforgettable, I would describe today with the word, UNIQUE. Why unique? I chose unique as i feel that it suits my experience today here in Uthai Thani. At the hill tribe school, we were warmly welcomed by the students with flower garlands and bright smiles, we were also invited to do a traditional dance with them which was suprisingly fun as everyone was very enthusiastic especially the students of the hill tribe school. we were then invited on a school tour, through that, i saw and experienced the school's classroom environment the classrooms were very clean and tidy which presented how much they appreciated it.Visiting the UNESCO site have thought me to appreciated and be more conservative towards mother nature. In a nutshell, i have learnt to be more appreciative about the things i have.

LiPing's Day 2 Reflection

Day 2
We went to Unesco wild life Sanitary and Hill tribe school. I felt very honoured as there were many unesco volunteers to host us and guide us. In the Unesco wild life sanitary we saw three videos which they had prepared for us to introduce the history of the Unesco wild life sanitary and the endangered animals in it. Some Unesco volunteers also took us to visit the living place of the founder of the Unesco wild life sanitary. The founder put in a lot of effort in conserve this place however his actions did not get any response from the people and government. Unfortunately he committed a suicide in his living room. I felt that it was a great pity for his death. I admire him as he was very committed and dedicated his whole life to conserve it. After that we went to visit the hill tribe school. I felt very honoured as they welcomed us warmly. I also felt very encouraging as even though the facilities of the school is not so good but the students are very happy to study there. They are curious about the outside world as there was a girl asked her teacher to asked me may I speak with her in English as she wanted to practise English. She showed a great eagerness of studying to me and I was motivated by it. I leant that I should be appreciate of what I have now and be consistent in my work.

Qian Er's day 2 reflection

Day 2 of Uthai Thani trip , 17 November 2016by Lau Qian Er, 303

Today we went to UNESCO site ( Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary ) and hill tribe school.  I think today's experiences is very fun and memorable as it is a very new experience for me. For the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, we got to see animals that we did not manage to see in Singapore. Although it is a video,  it felt  very realistic as we were at the wildlife sanctuary itself. ( we even spotted 2 dears :D ) I am touched by what Mr Seub did as he dedicated his whole life for the wildlife sanctuary. Personally,  I think he had succeeded partially as more people are visiting the Wildlife Sanctuary. I think that we should be influenced by what he did and persevered on  our goals and dreams in order to achieve them.I felt excited as i never heard of hill tribe school before. After visiting the school, I am amazed how the school looks like and what the children are doing. After seeing the children cleaning the classroom and the areas around the school, I think when I am in Singapore i would also do my part and clean my classrooms as well.  Although the facilities in their school is simple but all the students are still happy and contented. I have learnt to be more thankful for what i had in Singapore.

Megan's day 2 reflection ☺️

Day 2 reflection : This morning, we headed to a UNESCO site called Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary managed to earn its title today all thanks to Mr Seub, a committed man who dedicated his whole life to conserve the sanctuary. I am truly touched by his perseverance and love for nature. Without him, many rare plants and animals will perish and future generations will not be able to see them anymore. As we were entering the sanctuary, my group was lucky enough to chance upon 2 deers. That was the only wildlife we managed to see at the sanctuary as the other wildlife live deeper in the forest.
In the afternoon, we visited Ban E-mard E-Sai School, a school for a hill tribe in Uthai Thani. We were warmly welcomed by the students there and each of us personally received a garlan. I felt extremely honoured to be there. The students were very enthusiastic and friendly to see us. I managed to start a conversation as well as take some photos with them. Their school facility was not as great as compared to ours in Singapore however, they were still very cheerful and happy to be able to attend school. Upon witnessing that, i learnt the value of gratitude. I learnt to be thankful for everything i have in Singapore as the children in that school has simpler and more basic facilities, they do not have very advanced infrastructure whatsoever.
All in all, i found today's extremely really enriching and eye opening. I will get to learn and experience even more tomorrow.

tongshan s303 17/11/2016

Today we went to UNESCO side and Hill Tribe School. In the UNESCO side( Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary). I saw some animals which we did not manage to see in UNESCO side in Singapore. It is such a new experience to me. In the UNESCO side of Singapore, the plants are all placed by all staffs nicely. However, in the UNESCO side of Thailand, staffs do not place everything in an excellent manner, instead, they are trying to protect it and want to attract more and more people to know this place and visit it, like what the founder of the UNESCO side------Mr Seub. He spent his whole life on building UNESCO side. At first he was not successful as although he tried his best to encourage people to know and visit this place, people did not pay attention to the UNESCO side. After that, he was successful as nowadays more and more people get to know this place and visit it. I am touched by Mr Seub as he is willing to do everything for the nature. As a CCA leader, I think that it is very important for me to try my best in terms of helping my CCA members and make my CCA become better, just like what Mr Seub did for the UNESCO side.
We went to the Hill Tribe School also. In the school, I got to know more about tHe people here. Although the education environment here is not as good as what we have in Singapore, but they still feel happy about what they have now. I think that I need to appreciate what I have now also as a student, I have a good education environment and I have more chances to go out of my country to study when other people might not have the same thing as me.

Goal (xin thong)

17 November 2016

Today, we visited the Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Hill Tribe school. From there, I've learnt a lot of things and one of it was "goal". Why "goal"? Well, because both the director of Ban E mard E sai school, Mr Direk, and the advocate of the sanctuary, Seub, had a goal of their own. The director, Mr Direk, wanted to promote education for those living in an area where it's far from a government provided school and he stays there not just as a Principal but as a leader to ensure that there is a proper education. Mr Seub wanted to conserve the Wildlife Sanctuary and he also stayed there and he dedicated his time, life and effort to the whole sanctuary. He also wanted the world to know that there is a sanctuary and wanted others to conserve it as well. I think and believe that everyone has a goal in life and we will work towards it. This trip also taught me other values and one of it is "Perseverance". Without perseverance, there might not be a Hill Tribe school. Without perseverance, there might not be a Wildlife Sanctuary that everyone will enjoy and will continue to conserve in. We should be appreciative and thankful for everything we have and I believe that when we have a goal, we should strive towards it and give in our full effort to achieve it :D

Reflection
On the way to the wildlife sanctury, i saw alot of plot of land which is quite weird to me as in singapore you can rarely see any plot of land as we are quite urbanised. Before we reached the wildlife sanctury, to be honest, I do question why must we go to this wildlife sanctury but after we reached i realised how important it is to conserve such place. There i also learned about this man who sacrfice his life just to conserve a small part of the country to safe the animal there.  I appreaciate how we were welcome by the tour guide and also the student in the hill tribe school. I believe that we have a big impact on both the wildlife conservation and the hill tribe school because without us the places we visited will not have attention from the higher authorities as we are from singapore and as ms tng told us Singapore is widely regarded by thailand. It is a memorable experienced for the past few days. i hope tomorrow will be fun too..

17 November 2016 — 2nd Day in Thailand

I see that two man, the founder Sueub of the Huai Kha Kaeng Wildlife Sanctuary and director Direk is very passionate and courageous. They have put in their efforts to conserve nature and built a school to provide for the students without any help from the government. On the way to the Huai Kha Kaeng my group saw 2 deers and we manage to take some pictures. Seeing all the beautiful smiles on the faces of the children makes me very happy.

I feel very appreciative as we don't really experience such things in Singapore. Like the lifestyle at school. Their classrooms. They keep their school clean everyday. In Singapore we don't really do much. So we must appreciate the cleanliness in Singapore. If I did not sing up and go for this trip, I don't think I will ever come here as i don't know that the place existed at first.

Some of us did a dance at the hill tribe school including me. It was really enjoyable perfoming for them. I also took pictures with the students there and converse with them. They were really cute and shy as they did not know english language and did not understand me. To add on... I met my long lost twin sister HAHAHHHAH 😂

Reflection ~Yan Tong~

After today's experience at both the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary and the Hill Tribe School, I feel very honored and humbled that these people and students actually took their time and effort to host us and take us on a tour of the Wildlife Sanctuary and the Hill Tribe School. I observed that during the Wildlife Sanctuary tour, there were two translators there although all the information is in English and during the Hill Tribe School visit, I can tell that they really appreciated our presence and our performance. I feel that this experience has taught me how to appreciate people's hard work and effort. I am really grateful that these few people that have worked so hard to reach their goals that actually benefits the people in the world.

Zaid

Zaid;)
When we reached the Hill Tribe school, it was an eye opener as there is no school in Singapore look how the buildings in the Hill Tribe school look like. They was so happy to see all of us and welcome us with open arms, they even put garland around our neck. During the school tour the students was so proud to present their class to us although their classes do not have that much amenities like we have in Singapore. We also learnt more about the Thais culture. The students also let some of our students to play 'sepak takraw' with them. I wish more people will know more about the Hill Tribe school.

Aufa's Reflection :)

AUFA🎊
I see the effort put in by the founder of the sanctuary.Although it is not easily visible, the fact that it is a UNESCO site tells me that the man himself put in an amazing amount of time and dedication. Also i am inspired by him because he obviously had to sacrifice alot to make it happen. I also see the smiles on the face of the students at the school and it made me happy😀

I feel that the action of Mr Seub makes him a "lone wolf" in the terms of that no one supported him in his attempt to conserve the nature. He had a great vision which really important for a leader.Being able to see the bigger picture hence allow people to not think one sided and be more open minded. Also i think that this would strengthen my value of being more perserverence and make sure that i am able to see the bigger picture. I also feel that the smiles on the students really made me happy as we were the cause of that smile😀.The fact that they are able to be very positive with only bare necessities  really makes me more appreciative with what i have.

What i hope to do is being able to influence my juniors and allow them to develop their own values which will determine thier character.Maybe change the way i think about life as in being more appreciative and complain less to none.My dreams  have changed and i hope this dream of mine would change a lot😀⚘

Gigi :)) [Reflection]

Through visiting the Sanctuary and Hill Tribe School, I can see the difference in lifestyle even though both Singapore and Thailand is part of Southeast Asia. I really enjoyed visiting the Hill Tribe School as the students were very passionate and welcoming, and I also learnt to appreciate what we have back in Singapore. The visit to Sanctuary also enrich my learning, I am now able to understand more about the importance of conserving nature and also about leadership. A leader needs to make decisions that no one else is willing to make needs a lot of courage in order to influence others to act in a certain way, which many is unable truly understand the meaning of being a leader. However, this trip enforces on the values and qualities of being a leader, which I'm sure all of us is able to gain something one way or another. If there is something I wish to be able to do, I would like my choir juniors to make choir a better place to be in. Not in terms of environment since we are fortunate enough to sing in an air-conditioned room, but I would hope that they would be able to appreciate what we have and enjoy the process :)

Ismath

Today's experience was very unique. In the morning, we took a long journey to Huai Khat Kaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. Along the way, we had conversations within our team  and many of us were excited vising a wildlife sanctuary something which is uncommon in Sitngapore. When we reached the sanctuary, I was amazed to see how incredible the place truly was. I have never been as close as this to nature before and it really was an eye opener. After lunch, we headed to the hilltribe school. I was indeed heartened to see the students coming forward together to welcome us and I really enjoyed performing for them. At the wildlife sanctuary, Dr Ody was there to guide us and explain about the wildlife. I was touched as she took time of her busy schedule to make our experience an enriching one. She patiently answered our questions and the translators also cleared oyr doubts. At the hilltribe school, the school's effort to make our visit a memorable was indeed interesting. The teachers and the students had an enormous smile plastered across their faces. I could really feel the good vibes and could not help but to be ecstatic.  I really do appreciate the little things that everyone has done to help make our trip am enriching one. From preparing our lunch to driving the bus for up to 3 hours, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone. Being a leader, we should always take a step back to thank the people behind our success. I believe to stay humble and give back to the society is the way of a good leader. I would like to the same as well. When we had a break at 7-11, I bought two drinks for the bus driver. I did that as it was really humid and it must have been really exhausting to drive continously for a long period of time. I want to take back what I have learnt here to Singapore. Often in the SLC, it would be quite difficult to get people to voulunteer for certain events. However when I am able to get people, I have learnt that I should appreciate it. This has really knocked some sense into my head to stop complaining and whining so much. Maybe a simple smile or thank you could really go a long way :)

Day 2 Reflection

Today its the second day of the trip.. I saw a lot of new and unique things in the sch n the wild life sanctuary .  In the school i can see that the students there are very different from us. Firstly, the students there were so polite and respectful . Secondly,  they settle down very fast.. Unlike like us..  When assembly we take our time to settle down.. Im not trying to say tht ur not good..  But we just dont hav enough sense of urgency .
I feel tht they are so greatful of what they have.  They may have everything we have in sch ,  Their life may not be so fortunate as us but i can feel tht they are very greatful of what they have. I really didnt expect the classrooms were very clean n neat..
I really have to appreciate the things i have and really take an effort to clean n tidy up my classroom.  I think everyone hav a part to do to keep the either in sch or out sch..

Reflection

Sitay 
Today , i went to the hill tribe school , Ban E-Mard E-Sai and from the wildlife sanctuary, it took us almost 2 hours and the moment we reached, they welcomed us with standing in two rows and also putting over garland around us altho we are only over there for less than 4 hours.
-> I felt grateful as i am selected for this opportunity to visit the Wildlife Sanctuary and also the hill tribe school. Also, i felt that perseverance is important as both man never gave up in the things they really want to do. My feelings was all over the place when i interacted with the children.
-> I will share to my family members and juniors how hard their life is in Uthai Thani and how much we should be grateful for and not take things for granted. We should also appreciate the little things that people do for us just to make us smile.

Chloe's Day 2 Reflection :D

So far, these two days have been memorable. The 18 of us have gone through a lot as a group :D , from travelling a few hours to get from one place to another and visiting places such as the hill tribe school and the wildlife sanctuary.
On the way to Uthai Thani, we saw the beautiful sunset ,hills and sceneries. We took the time to bond with one another :)
Today , we visited the Huai Kha Kaeng Wildlife Sanctuary to learn about Mr Seub, the man who put his heart & soul into this sanctuary and to conserve this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After that, we visited Ban E-mard E-Sai School ,the hill tribe school to interact with the students. We also performed a dance item for them :D
This trip has been memorable because we had first time experiences together as a group, such as having our meal on the van and visiting a wildlife sanctuary, as well as travelling long distances together. We would not be able to have these experiences as often in Singapore and I feel that this is a great opportunity to experience Uthai Thani,a place out of the city in Thailand. I feel grateful to the drivers ,coordinators and those who prepared our meals to ensure we do not go hungry.
When I go back to Singapore, I would like to share my experience with my family and friends, and hope that more people will be more aware of the place Uthai Thani.
We had taken lots of pictures and these will serve as memories for us too :).

Vision (Dzaky)

The Past, Present, Future

We're all born as a pure baby, making different mistakes as we go along.
No matter how big or small the mistakes are, we've gone through things that we
might not want to get or experience.

Through this journey, even though it has been just two days there are a lot
of things that made me reflect.
From the Wildlife Sanctuary to the Hill Tribe School,

I feel like the values that had been brought along to this journey had made it
more meaningful. I saw how welcoming and appreciative the students
are when we arrived. Just by our presence alone, it can
bring them a lot of benefits.

Yes this is a Leadership Trip, however i think that this trip
is a way to enable us to appreciate and broaden our minds of the world.
For the future, we are the little seeds that will help bloom the world.
With the experience that we've got through this journey, I feel that
we are better equipped when we come back to Singapore or even the future.
But definitely with the right values that we put in the present,
our future would be a meaningful past.
